I am not a designer and not a copywriter. I work with both.

Who this suits

It suits you if

you are a designer or an agency handing over a design and want to be sure it goes live fast, correct and unchanged. Or you have a website that does not work technically. Or you simply want to stop thinking about your website.

It does not suit you if

you are looking for a logo, a brand or copy. I do not do those myself. You need a designer or a copywriter for that, and I am glad to work with both.

How a project runs

You see every step on your own website before it goes live.

  • I build

    I build your design or rework your existing website. Every build checks automatically that speed, accessibility and structure are right.

  • You see it in the preview

    You get a password-protected preview of your website and comment directly on the page: click the spot, write a note. No email chain with screenshots.

  • I change it

    Your comments reach me together with the spot they are about. I make the changes, and you see the result in the same preview.

  • It goes live, with a report

    At handover you get a report on your website: speed, accessibility, findability, privacy. Every statement in it is measured, not asserted.

Who I am

Not a straight road into web development, but one that explains why I work the way I do.

  • Social work by training

    A bachelor's degree in social work from Hochschule Emden/Leer. That is where I learned to listen before anything gets built, which is still the most important step of a project.

  • Bars and hotels in three countries

    Bar manager in Hamburg, assistant beverage manager at the InterContinental Singapore, senior bartender at the Rosewood Abu Dhabi, plus beer and spirits sommelier. That is where calm under pressure comes from, and the standard that guests should come back.

  • WordPress since 2021, independent since 2025

    I build websites for small businesses and non-profits: with WordPress when content changes often, and static when it does not.

  • A system instead of gut feeling

    With AI I have built my own tools that check every website automatically. The AI does not just write away: I set the structure, and every result is checked.
